Will had his worst day as a professional in round 4 and shot 79. He said that the windy conditions exposed his technical faults and he played poor golf. So his dream is over for another year and he will have to content himself with playing on The Alps Tour, Jamega Tour and Europro Tour. Then go back to ‘Q’ School next year. Shame but there it is. What he can do is learn from his experience and improve his technique, which he thought was good enough until today.
But I think Will can take a lot from his 3 months as a pro. He has learned to stand on his own feet and take responsibility. He made no excuses for his performance today and faces problems head-on. That’s why we work well together and I think he will do well next season.
Happy golfing – Roger
